Spiegel Ventures was founded in 2003 and is led by Lesley Spiegel.
Lesley established a dedicated company offering technology-oriented start-up enterprises
and venturing platforms essential tools and skills to realize their growth potential.

Lesley has intensively been involved as a promoter of high-tech start-ups in Switzerland and abroad for the last 15 years. Her set of experiences bases on complementary pillars: As management coach she has been working with over 40 young technology ventures on their growth path. Since January 2015 Lesley acts as Managing Director at the Institute of Design Research at the Zurich University of the Arts, fostering application-oriented research and the emergence of innovative ventures combining design and technology. As former CEO of the Foundation TECHNOPARK® Zurich she was responsible for the technology transfer centre hosting over 250 companies, including the development of new promotion platforms and projects. As member of several key institutions in the venture branch she has a solid network and knowledge of Switzerland's high-tech start-up ecosystem.

Since January 2015 Lesley is heading the Institute of Design Research at the Zurich University of the Arts. For five years (2004-9), Lesley acted as CEO of the Foundation TECHNOPARK® Zurich, Switzerland's largest technology transfer centre. She worked for Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in Zurich and Tel Aviv and for McCann-Erickson as strategic planner. Lesley holds a B.A. from Haifa University and a M.Sc. in Industrial Design from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. As an entrepreneur she is CTI Start-up coach, board member of a microcredit fund and supported the Impact Hub Zurich, a future-oriented incubator, as advisory board member during the years of its creation. Lesley acts as visiting lecturer at ETH Zurich dedicated to technology transfer.

Lesley Spiegel
